We want to start the spring season at the old pool site by working on the community garden. Sunday 21 September backup date 28 September.

Task Group to find best solution

On its meeting on the 26^th of June the Christchurch City Council decided that a task group should look into the future use of the land of the old pool.

The group will have a member each from our pool group, the residents association, the community board, the Council, the St Albans Primary School and local businesses. The task group will be led by an independent chairperson and is supposed to report back to Council by Mid-January.

This will give the local community further opportunity to voice their opinion and influence what will happen in our neighbourhood.

We have great hopes that this process will have many positive outcomes.

In view of the limited time we are anxious to have the task force working as soon as possible.
